Prime Build Cleaning is a boutique construction cleaning company working for custom and quality builders across Melbourne. We are not a large operator running thin margins on volume — we charge properly and we deliver a documented standard, which is only possible because of who is on the tools.
We do not run a list of open vacancies. Hiring happens in bursts as jobs land, so applications stay open year round and we keep every one on file. If your application fits what is coming, we will call you.

What we actually offer, in plain terms.
Above award pay, every fortnight, on time
We pay above the award because the work is skilled and the standard is high. It lands on the day it is supposed to land, without you chasing it. If we ever get that wrong, it gets fixed the same day — not next pay run.
Real training, not a broom and good luck
You will be taught which product goes on stone, on timber, on chrome and on glass, and why the wrong one is a defect nobody can undo. You will learn the 62-point standard properly, because on our jobs the checklist gets signed in front of the builder.
Progression that is actually available
We are small, which means there is no queue in front of you. Cleaners who hold the standard and turn up become team leaders, and team leaders run their own jobs, scope variations and sign off with site supervisors.
Proper equipment, supplied
Industrial vacuums, the right machines, the right chemicals — all provided. You do not bring your own gear and you never buy consumables out of your own pocket.
Consistent work, and honest about the peaks
Construction cleaning moves with handover dates, so the weeks are not identical. We tell you what is coming rather than calling you the night before, and weekend and urgent work is paid at a premium.
Respect on site
You represent the company in front of builders and their clients, and you will be backed like it. We do not send crews into unsafe or unscoped work, and we do not accept jobs by underquoting the hours you need to do them properly.
The one requirement
Work rights in Australia.
That is the only thing we cannot be flexible on. Everything else we will teach you or organise — including your Construction Induction Card if you do not already hold one.
And the kind of person we look for
- You turn up — on the day, at the time, without a reminder
- You notice the drawer interior, the window track, the top of the cabinet
- You would rather ask than guess when something is not in the scope
- You can take direction on a live construction site
